About and corrections

This site is unofficial

Darts in 60 is an independent news summary service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to any darts organisation, tournament, broadcaster or player. Organisation and tournament names are used only to describe the news.

How summaries are made

  1. Public feeds only. We read the RSS feeds that organisations and publishers choose to make public. We never scrape web pages, and we use only what is in the feed.
  2. Two sources or an official one. A story is only considered if an official source reports it, or at least two independent sources do.
  3. Written by software, in our own words. An AI model writes a summary of no more than 60 words from the facts in those sources. It does not copy their sentences.
  4. Checked by code. Automatic checks confirm that every number and score appears in a source, that names match our player list, that no wording was lifted from a source and that every source link works.
  5. Checked by a second model. A different AI model, from a different company, compares the summary with the sources and must agree that every claim is supported.
  6. Sensitive stories wait for a person. Anything touching health, legal matters, disciplinary issues or unconfirmed rumour is never published automatically.

Every story links to the original reporting. Please read it: the journalists who did the work deserve the visit.

Results and rankings pages

The results and rankings tables are taken from Wikipedia and used under the CC BY-SA 4.0 licence. Each page links to the exact version it came from, and ranking pages also link to the governing body's own table, which is the official one. We only use a version that has stood unchanged for a while, and a score is shown only once the match is finished.

Corrections

Automated summaries can be wrong. If you see an error, email contact@dartsin60.com with the link to the story and what is wrong. We correct or remove stories promptly and note significant corrections on the story.

For publishers

We read your public RSS feed, write a short summary in our own words and send readers to your article with a prominent link. We do not copy your text or use your images.

If you would rather we did not use your feed, email contact@dartsin60.com and we will stop and remove existing summaries of your stories. Our feed reader identifies itself as DartsIn60Bot.
